Gemma Ward and Stephanie Hutton join the Board at MasonBreese

We are proud to announce that Gemma Ward and Stephanie Hutton have joined our Board.

Gemma joined us three years ago and has played a key role in the growth of our business. In particular, Gemma has successfully implemented a number of initiatives aimed at ensuring we stay true to our mission, which focuses on our people, clients, community and overall resilience.

Managing Director Chris Nicol said “Gemma has done an outstanding job in her role as Chief Operating Officer for MasonBreese and has recently completed her Institute of Directors certificate in Company Direction with distinction. I am delighted that Gemma has agreed to step up to join the Board as an Executive Director.”

In addition, Stephanie Hutton has joined MasonBreese as our new Finance Director and will act as Non-Executive Director. Stephanie is a qualified Chartered Accountant with many years’ experience operating as a Finance Director for local and multinational companies.

Chris added: “Stephanie has worked with MasonBreese for several years as an Associate, providing interim Financial Director services and knows our business well. We are lucky to have someone of Stephanie’s calibre and experience joining our Board.”

Gemma Ward commented “Since joining MasonBreese in 2021 we have delivered creative solutions that support our clients in delivering their change and transformation objectives. I’m proud to work for an organisation that places its people, clients and community at its centre. I’m excited to join the Board of Directors and continue our mission to deliver sustainable value for all of our stakeholders.”

Stephanie added “I have worked with MasonBreese for the last year and my role has been to drive financial success and growth across organisations we support, whilst also building effective collaborative relationships at all levels. I’m pleased to be able to bring this expertise to the Board and I look forward to continuing the Board’s mission to prioritise and invest in our people, premises, infrastructure and community.”

After a successful period of more than three years on the Board guiding the development of our business as Non-executive Directors, Mike Gray and David Slater will step down as Directors at the end of October.

Chris commented, “Mike and Dave joined the Board at a time of change in late 2020. They have been instrumental in guiding MasonBreese through a time of reinvigoration during which we set out the values of the company, diversified our client base, invested in our people and optimised the infrastructure of MasonBreese to allow the company to mature and grow. I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal thanks for their support over the last three years.”
